Jan Walker-Roenisch (20/21st century) is active/lives in Alberta, Wyoming.  Jan Walker Roenisch is known for Horses.

As a teenager, Jan sold her first portraits of Pop stars to a music magazine in California. While attending Prescott College in Arizona, majoring in Scientific Illustration and photography, Jan illustrated Ornithology research papers as well as a few books.

After graduation, Jan worked for the Forest Service in Arizona and in the back country around Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In 1980, Jan and her husband Rich, a sculptor, moved near Longview, Alberta.

Jan has been painting commissioned portraits, mostly in oils, primarily of horses, for over 40 years. She also does some 3-dimensional bronzes. Over the years, Jan has had several pieces in the Calgary Stampede Art Auction.
